Paul trained as an actor at The Guildford School of Acting. He went on to join the Equity Fight Directors Register and The British Academy of Dramatic Combat, deputizing at numerous drama schools and running various workshops at collages and universities. In recent years he has worked mostly as a fight director all over the country, and in London.
