Jean-Marc trained originally as a ballet dancer at Elmhurst Ballet School but lead roles as an actor followed including Prince Caspian in the BBC’s The Chronicles of Narnia series (where he coincidentally first learned to sword fight!) Training later continued at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School where he went on to become a national coach for British Fencing and a certified fight instructor with the BADC under the auspices of the awesome and inspiring Jonathan Howell. He later founded Cut & Thrust which he now runs with his wife, Rebecca and his company offers bespoke stage combat events and workshops for all kinds of occasions both here in the UK and overseas.
