Dan Styles
Dan was introduced to stage combat at the age of 15 in high school and he was hooked. He continued his stage combat training as well as additional training in martial arts, fencing, re-enactment fighting, historical European martial arts and as an actor was able to use his skills in almost every production he worked on. He went on to take a two year teaching apprenticeship with the BADC and is now a qualified stage combat instructor. As a performer Dan has worked alongside the stunt teams in many major Hollywood features and as a fight/action co-ordinator he has worked across all visual media as well as live performance and has choreographed fights on well over 100 productions for stage and screen. Dan is co-director of Independent Drama – Dramatic Action Specialists.
